For example a builder may claim to offer more standard options than any other company, the best house wrap, high quality cabinets, better flooring, etc...without naming the brand. Here is where you need to be a savvy buyer.
How can you educate yourself?
Ask for the builders standard specifications and a legal document of the description of materials, t’s called DOM! Why? That will give you the name of the brands and then do your own research on the internet to read about the brands! Look at the warranty on each product, the reviews, the company’s history!
